Around 125,000 West Virginians work for state or local government. Many of them rely on the Public Employee Insurance Agency to see doctors and get the medicine they need to be healthy.
Over the last few years, public sector employees have seen increases in premiums, with little increase in pay to cover it. With the West Virginia Legislature scheduled to meet on Jan. 14, 2026, we want to hear from the workers and their families who rely on this key benefit.
Do you have any questions about PEIA? Would you like to share your experiences or concerns about the plan? We want to hear from you.
